Am I really here?

            Here, in this room, with-with her?

            It must be a dream…I will wake up to find this all a horrible, wonderful dream.

            Wonderful because she’s here.

            Horrible because it’s only a dream.

            “Riku?” her voice, it doesn’t sound far away like in dreams. It sound’s solid, real. Her lips are the same, solid, feather like.

            This must be a dream. Her eyes are filled with want, not for friendship, not for a companion. Not for Sora…for…for me…

            She brushed a lock of platinum hair from my face, her beautiful blue eyes staring into mine. Her smile is radiant as she speaks, “Riku, stop thinking.”

            I drown in her eyes, as I nod dumbly, capturing her lips, enveloping her in my arms. I pull her as close as I can.

            It’s my name she calls with every new breath.

            I must be dreaming. But…it feels so real.

            Perhaps I don’t need a reason. Perhaps all I need is a purpose.

            And she’s my purpose.

            “Kairi…is this…is this a dream?” I stroked her soft auburn hair. She smiled at me again, “Of course not silly…”
